Outfitting a new bow
I am new to bowhunting. Based on the recommendation of my local shop and many bowhunters I work with, I am ordering the 2003 Magnatec with the XT2000 limbs. I'm looking for recommendations on accessories: rest, release, sight, etc. I know there are lots out there (accessories and opinions!) and I'm trying to sift through the information and set this bow up so I won't feel the need to upgrade for a couple of years. Any advice is much appreciated!

Kinger, it all depends on how much money you want to spend. My preferences are :
Release- Carter lockjaw with open jaw or Scott Mongoose or littlegoose(preferably with the bernie's can't punch)
Rest- TRophy Taker Shakyhunter
Stabilizer- Stealth 10" 3d, it is simply the best.
sight- I have a Trophy ridge Flatliner, but am looking for another, probably something with a dovetail mounting sys.
Arrows- Goldtip xt 100 grain points
Broadhead- Rockie Mt. Snyper
Keep in mind that all of the above are my preferences and opinions. Goodluck!!!

Again how much money you want to spend is paramount. All of these responses will be opinions, & yours will very also, with the exception of the Stealth stab, it is the best!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
Bodoodle Pro Lite rest
3-60 ACC’s
Rocket Mini Blaster heads
Tru Fire Hurricane release, very smooth!
Sure Loc sight
ATC 55mm 4X scope
Stealth stab, again the best!!
Good judgment comes from years of bad judgment.
