Default fletching question

I shoot three fletch helical on my arrows. I have a whisker biscuit rest. I'm noticing wear on my feathers from shooting. Would a straight fletch lessen the wear on my feathers?

Default RE: fletching question

WB are really hard on vanes. My WB was so hard on my vanes, that I went and got a drop away and now I am fletching arrows a whole lot less! If you do put a straight fletch, there shouldn't be as much wear on the vanes, however, your arrow wont stable as quick. A helical is the best fletch to put on your arrow!
