Default Fletching question

I'm trying to fletch 5" feathers on Easton 2016's....with a hard right helical clamp. I have RH feathers.....but I'm having a heckuva time getting the feathers to seat properly. I've already ruined 2 trying.

Any suggestions.....or do I just have to play with it more?

Adjust the offset?

What jig are you using? And where are the fletches not seating properly?

Bitz.

Hard to explain.....but it's feathers on aluminum........and they're not sticking. They're obviously not seating, properly.

I never have my feather pushed all the way up to the clamp. I leave a small even gap so I get excellent contact with arrow and feather!

It takes a lot of tinkering, but once you get it, you can zip thru. Leave 1/8" to press to the arrow from the bottom of the jig. Are you using the tape?
