Hoyt Intruder, anyone use one? I'm needing advice
#1
I've just been studying up trying to get in on bowhunting and I've got a few to still look at but one standing out to me and in my budget range leaves me wondering more about it. Its a Hoyt Intruder(also has the mystic emblem on it) 60-70lb, 29" draw which is about right for me. The base bow no acc. is on sale for $189.99, possibly less with haggling. It just has a really good feel to me and although its not a fancy split limb rig i'm trying to keep at or under $400 and have something reliable i dont need to replace every other season. So anyone thoughts?

The bow is a Mystic with Intruder limbs. The Intruder limbs were Hoyt's budget limbs. Good stuff, just as good as some companies' top endlimbs, just not as good asHoyt's higher end limbs. I'd suggest going over to Ebay and taking a peek. See what other Mystics are selling for, and then you'll have a better idea of how much haggling you need to do.

I shoot a 70#Hoyt MagnaTec with intruder limbs and have had no problems. The bow sets goodin my hand and is pretty smooth to draw. I put tarantula silencers on this summer and raise my arrow weight which eliminated noise from the bow.
