Pat, I'm ready. Have bow, want to shoot! We should get together & shoot some this winter. I meant Tristan would keep the Mmmeeerrrlll.... shooters in line. When they see him all camo'd up, dragging his Rascal around, they'll beg to join us.

Phil.
"Could you guys be quiet, my dad's trying to shoot."

I'm game for shooting with you this Winter. Do you have any good indoor ranges near you or do you know of any in between us? LMK and we'll hook up sometime (after I get a deer) anyway...

I don't know if anyone else knows it yet but I got an email with a picture attached from Matt/PA last night and he killed a nice 6 pt last night with his NEW and I mean NEW Patriot... He got the bow excatly 25.5 hrs. before he shot this buck...Dang man he could have at least waited for the film dip to dry before he got blood on the grip...LOL...Way to go Matt....

Oh, I wish I had time to offer a witty rebuttal but I have a new bow to "play with".

Gotta set it up...shoot it through the chrony...take measurements..etc....etc...etc...

Oh, and at some point I need to find the time to put on my new complimentary Hoyt hat as well as put all my keys on my new complimentary Hoyt key chain and put that complimentary window sticker on my Kia too...

Those Mathews folks have nothing on Hoyt now....

You drive a Kia...LOL...Just kiddin ya I almost bought one last year...But don't ya think it will look kind of funny with HOYT (U.S.A.) pasted on a Kia (Korean) car window and in the igniton?...LOL...

FWIW, You'd also get a free hat from BowTech if you buy a BowTech bow. All you'd have to do is send in the warranty card (or register the bow online) and you even get a choice a Free Hat or a Free Grunt Call...

Can't wait to read the report when you post it...

Frank...

I'm guessing for speed...30" draw....with that brace....299-302 FPS (assuming it's not the spiral cam). Let me know how I did.

Seriously..give us the scoop on that new cam...you know I've seen them and know what I think, I wanna hear what you think.

Pat,

I TOTALLY forgot about the grunt call! I 've got a few hats (camo, black, etc.). I'm gonna have to get grunt call with the DC PAT. ya know who makes the call?

Jeff, I don't remember the name of the company (I'll find out) but I do know the guy that owns the company. It's a pretty good tube. It even has BowTech burnt into the wood mouthpiece...

Walks with a gimp
I cannot say much about what the plans of bow tech are for the 03 strings, but I can assure you that Winner's Choice has much more than enough production capibility to supply the demand of Bow Tech as well as our other customers such as Forge, PSE, and over 900 dealers nation wide. ( Forge will be using Winner's Choice as standard equipment in 2003 and PSE has them availble in their catalog). We have 17 employees in 2 locations with lots of room to grow if nesisary. the fact is, We have met every shipping deadline from Bow tech with time to spare. I guess my point is if you don't get your bow it is not because they don't have strings if they come from Winner's Choice.

Hey thanks Pat,
Yep I took a nice buck last night with my Brandy new Patriot.....Hows that for a turn around. Bing bang boom and she's sighted in and hunting 24 hours later. The deer didn't seem to mind that fresh "Shipping Box" cover scent.

Seriously, The bow is awesome......always knew that , but this is the first time I've actually gotten to shoot one IN MY DRAW LENGTH. Before I was squeezing down into a 28" draw. This is the first bow that I've shot that has the same feel to the shot at 28" as it does at my 30". The extra power stroke does nothing to increase recoil, and vibration is non-existant.
I have it set-up with a GKF "Premier" rest, a Copper John sight, A Shorty GK "Tranquilizer" out front, and a 4" Stealth in the rear. (Would have liked a Stealth out front but don't have one that balances as good), Also has the "Hush Kit", SIMS slide, loop and a "Super Hunter" tru-peep.
You should have seen me the afternoon I got it scrambling to get it ready for yesterdays hunt......probably looked like one of those fast action "Benny Hill" chase scenes.

There's still a few days left to use the $50 BowTech rebate on 2002 models!.........I know I know, the 2003's are coming, well I have a 2003 Dual Cam Patriot coming myself but I had to take advantage of the deal on the single cam "Infinity" version as it will be very similar 2003's but less expensive.......if you are planning on a 2003 single, you may want to snatch up one of the remaining 2002's and save a few bucks on the best hunting bow of 2002.
I'm sure glad I did!!
