RE: Well, here's what's new from BowTech for 2003...
Hey thanks Pat,
Yep I took a nice buck last night with my Brandy new Patriot.....Hows that for a turn around. Bing bang boom and she's sighted in and hunting 24 hours later. The deer didn't seem to mind that fresh "Shipping Box" cover scent.
Seriously, The bow is awesome......always knew that , but this is the first time I've actually gotten to shoot one IN MY DRAW LENGTH. Before I was squeezing down into a 28" draw. This is the first bow that I've shot that has the same feel to the shot at 28" as it does at my 30". The extra power stroke does nothing to increase recoil, and vibration is non-existant.
I have it set-up with a GKF "Premier" rest, a Copper John sight, A Shorty GK "Tranquilizer" out front, and a 4" Stealth in the rear. (Would have liked a Stealth out front but don't have one that balances as good), Also has the "Hush Kit", SIMS slide, loop and a "Super Hunter" tru-peep.
You should have seen me the afternoon I got it scrambling to get it ready for yesterdays hunt......probably looked like one of those fast action "Benny Hill" chase scenes.
There's still a few days left to use the $50 BowTech rebate on 2002 models!.........I know I know, the 2003's are coming, well I have a 2003 Dual Cam Patriot coming myself but I had to take advantage of the deal on the single cam "Infinity" version as it will be very similar 2003's but less expensive.......if you are planning on a 2003 single, you may want to snatch up one of the remaining 2002's and save a few bucks on the best hunting bow of 2002.
I'm sure glad I did!!
