Drop away making noise
Before the season started i got a Diamondback drop away rest put on my bow. It shoots great but i noticed a problem with it. After the shot when the rest drops back down, it makes a loud smack off of the riser. I put some moleskin on the bottom of the rest and the riser to try to take some of the noise away, but its still pretty loud. I was wondering if anyone else had a problem like this or how i could fix it? Thanks

RE: Drop away making noise
I had that problem with my Black Knight and a NAP 4000.i slid the arrow holder that the restcomes with so that the rubber was about a 1/4 inch off the back of the riser and that solved the problem.

[blockquote]A piece of a Sims insulator strip works wonders. You know, the little strip of rubber they make for the metal front edgeof the riser in front of the grip. It's self adhesive, and trust me, when your launcher blades land on their Navcom material it doesn't make a sound. They cost about $5. Try it, it works better than anything I've tried.
