One thing Ive learned over the years BigBuck28....
Its the person who drives around in a old beat-up picktruck orecono van
with a cardboard sign glued to the side of the door and backwindow
seem to do the best work....
This especially holds true for electicians, and plumbers, carpenters..
My Dad an Accountant and a (verysuccessful one at that) has never bought a new vehical in his life.
Heck he drives around in a 1975 Toyota Landcruiser....

I'm sorry , but I would not give him anything. Every part of it is bad. Take it to an other Taxidermist and see what he would take to remount it. The mount is even wrong. I feel your pain!!! Grant

It looks like he was trying to cut corners. I have even seen a deer form like that besides the ones do a long time ago. My opion is he either had a old mount or bought one. I wound not even take him squriel hunting. Sorry about your mount if it means alot to you get a goodtaxadermist thatcould recape it and do it over.

Tell him to find another hobby. I have had capes brought in that had thousands of ticks, literally when he set it on the table it looked like grey water running off it. Sick really. Freeze it for a week and bye bye ticks. Excuses are easy, good taxidermy is hard. Any good taxi worth his salt would be able to fix tick problems. The hide isn't the problem. Tell him to join his state taxidemry association and attend the many fine seminars put on each year and learn.
