Puppy Training
I finally found the puppy I was looking for, now, I need some help. We have a French Brittany that became our owner last week.. She is 9wks old and a real looker. I have not done any extensive training work with dogs before now and am asking for some help.
1) How do I begin to housebreak her
2) What at this age regarding training should I be doing
She seems to be a very active pup timid and is interested in " smelling around" outdoors. We are working now on trying to teach her to come but do not seem to be getting anywhere yet. Maybe it' s a little early ??
Thanks for the help and ideas. " Keep Your Feathers Dry"

RE: Puppy Training
1. Best way to housebreak a puppy is with crate training.
2. Pre-school, Kindergarten training is right now, but formal training will normally be at about 5 to 6 months of age.
I' m not too bad of a retriever trainer, but I don' t know diddly about Brits.
