No Dak bird hunting
We are going to take the boys to N Dak the end of October bird hunting. How is the weather going to be and are there deer ticks?
The boys are used to hunting the AZ desert with cacti and other sticky stuff and are pretty tough. Any equipment like boots or vests that I should look into?
Thanks

RE: No Dak bird hunting
I am from ND and the weather can be from one extreme to the other. I always remember snow towards the end of October as a child but last year I was home pheasant hunting over Thanksgiving and it was pretty warm. By that I mean we didn' t need coats once the sun was up and we were walking.
The brush can be pretty tough and will chew up your boots and pants so tough apparel is recommended.

Thanks.
We bought brush pants and waterproof boots. Didn' t know they sell them here. And a mobile home for Bullet. The biggest kennel there is with wheels and wall to wall carpet. So he is going to sleep in style. Now I just have to convince him of staying in that monster.
