Default First Trip to the Woods

I adopted little Ivory 3 weeks ago. She is a 3 month old yellow lab that I plan to teach her to shed hunt. Today was the first trip to the woods. I think she is going to do just fine. She was just tagging along for now. I found 3 sheds today. I threw this little one out a ways and she went to get it just perfect. I still have some work on getting her to release it though.

I am gettinga Chesapeake Bay Retriever next weekend. I would like to do some shed hunting with it also. Is there anything you have learned so far with your pup that you would share.
Mine is only going to be 7 weeks when we get her, but I would like to play some games with her when she is real young that might help down the road.

Thanks
Dan
