Yes, is a lil drive for me too, about 140 miles..lol but Hey I've traveled further to hunt.

And yes the more hunters the less cost per person if only 250 acres, but a place you can go at anytime if we can secure a lease. 20 people estimated 125.00 for the season roughly 10 acres of space a man.

Va you beat me to it lol.... I have been running errands all morning and was just coming in here to see what everyone thought of this... I would be interested in a roadtrip maybe in the next few weekends to go look at the place myself... yes it is a drive but I know there is some great hutning down that way.... if we decide to do this then we could also keep looking at maybe another small place aroudn here that is a little closer for half day hunts... The golf course I will not know anythign probably until close to season.... it still looks really promising but he doesnt want to say yes or no until a little later on ( I think he still wants me to keep doing the extras I have been lol)

I can also trade some work as well...just thought I would ask sicne season is getting close lol

Eng, Um... at this rate you need one of them redBull drinks to keep up, man I'm wide open this time of year to much excitement stored from last season....lol

I forgot to post some of the info. so here goes: 1500 acre, old family farm in pristine Prince Edward county 5 miles east of Farmville Virginia.1000 acres pine/hardwood mix tree farm remainder in tobacco fields and pasture. Deer, wild turkey, quail and small game. Tracts are broken down 1000 acres, and the other 2 @250 acres each.

I can help out on a weekend too, if need be. Farmville ain't too far away from Richmond. The 1500 acre farm sounds GREAT!! [8D]

Hey yall, I know this will sound a bit forward since im new to this forum and to hunting for that matter. but if you are still looking for members for a VA hunt club to help cut down on individual costs I'd be very interested. I live in virginia beach and drove all the way to NY to shoot my first buck last season so a trip to PW county is no big for me. Right now I only hunt public land (Chickahominy) so a private lease would be like a slice of heaven for me and maybe i could pick your collective brains and learn something.

Anyway if Taz or Eng wanted to send me an e-mail with details I'd appreciate it.
Phownixma@aol

Thanks for the consideration

Welcome to the Board!,,

Arh Arh ARHHHHHH it appears this board had a fire lit...lmao... well it's about time...oh I shot my first doe of the season...lmao well it was with my Digital Bino's...

Now I can have a good look at that buck from a distance and shot em twice...lmao.... yeah yeah yeah the drive is a bit, but I hunted in charles city for three years with a club and I live in woodbridge, I guess I'm either krazy or looking to fill my deep freezer chest..lmao in any case I enjoy the sport and if it takes me 2-3 it's well worth it to me. So we will continue to search high and low for local land as well which is a task of itself..That's on Taz and Eng .. I'm just nosey and I find these places threw my browsing...lol
