I saw only one doe. The irony of the situation is that the land I hunted on is my buddy' s newly purchased property. however, I did most of the work, cutting trails, setting up the stands, etc...
So, my buddy realizing this, says, bri, you did all the work, you pick the stand! so, I did. what happens??? He has, and I quote, " a Parade of deer under his stand." He ended up killing a big bodied 5 pt. it was his first bowkill ever. (I' m still trying for mine).

regardless of only seeing a doe on the opener, I was happy that my buddy shot the deer. He said it was a day of two firsts...first bowkill deer and first time he had ever killed a deer on his own property.

sunday I didn' t see much of anything. I guess the wind really shocked their systems.

i have not killed a deer with a bow yet but it will come sooner or later anything that walks under my stand buck or doe it will get zapped first bowkill first trophy bowkill. sunday evening i seen 5 does 1 high rack 6 point the buck was out of range i picked the closest doe next to me ,,,i shot missed, misses will happen,going next weekend,,,

good luck next weekend. I am heading to Missouri next weekend for 5 days of hunting. we have a lease out there and there are some pretty big bucks.

but, I will be back up onthis land. I have a tag to fill!!!!!

got my first bow kill this morning at 8:45 taht is all i have done it was a young doe.
