And I can' t hardly wait, I had a small wheat field that I let mature, then about 2 weeks ago I bush-hogged it down, then last week I ran a disc over it to get rid of the stubble, theres alot of seed on the ground, The birds are coming in really good, I should have some excellent dove shooting when season opens.

do the wheat seeds get buried much when you disk it? i planted a couple of acres of wheat for doves last fall. the wheat grew pretty good, but now it' s full of ragweed and this small stuff that looks like a bunch of small clover leaves growing on long stems.

This will be my second year hunting, and my first year hunting doves. I shoot trap a lot to get ready for wingshooting, so I hope it helps. Wish me luck! And good luck to you, strut, and all the others!
