well said!lmfao, But I will say for the ones(if any) that actually have the problem of hunters illegally hunting or using loopholes to hunt others land have every right to be upset. For the ones who cry cause a dog comes in their hunt from another hunt? They are the ones who need grow up.

no thats not what im saying.I just said( incase you didnt see the entire post) that it is not alright for illegal access or legal if they have the intent to enter(person or dog.) Let meclear it up.. I dont think a dog every now and again running across your property should be a big deal.during any dog season it might happen.I agree if it becomes a habbit or was done on purpose that it is a very big deal, and laws should be changed to stop people from just being able to cross on anothers property.

This is a very arrogant posting. What you are saying is that when someone lays out their hard earned money and buys a piece of property and pays the taxes on it, that they should not be allowed to do whatever they want with it because someone has been running dogs on it for the last 10 years. I must ask then, why didn't YOU buy the property so that you can continue the "tradition"? All you had to do to buy it is offer more money.

I have never shot a deer in front of dogs, yet, unlike in your posting, I see deer all the time. I killed 7 this year, 9 last year and 7 the year before. Those are the ones that I chose to shoot and not counting the ones that I let walk. To say that it is impossible to hunt SE VA without dogs is a lie. To say that dog running contributes so significantly to the annual deer harvest is a mis-direction of the truth; they do add to the annual deer harvest, but it could also be done without dogs if people actually put time and effort into their hunting. And just so you know, because you are either releasing the hounds or on stand waiting for them so you don't necessarily see, deer do not just stand there when a pack of dogs are coming, they leave the area, usually in a hurry.
