Rub question ...POLL

My best spot this year had no rubs or scapes..I knew the deer were there from previous years. I'm sure I could find scrapes and rubs..butI go to my tree the quitest route ..hunt and then leave..I will not ruin the spot.

B 6-10 If a buck really working an area there will be scrapes as well lots of rubs. Love those big rubs as well but usually wont hunt an area unless there is sign suggestion something is using it.

I agree with camocop, i don't pay much attention to rubs. I want to hunt scrapes, which are frequented often. My friend hunted an area 2 years ago that had 12-13 rubs on different size trees and only killed a small four point off the stand. He never saw many deer there and has since quit hunting rub lines.

Here in NC I only saw a handful of rubs and scrapes in many different areas. I like to setup in the thickest transition areas between feeding and bedding areas.
