Good luck Mike.
I've been huntin gin Florida about 6 years.Until that happens you need to explore and scout the WMAs. I still hunt the WMAs myself. There seems to be more opportunities if you live in the pan handle. Central FLorida is tough to find private property.

If by private land you mean a lease, they are all pretty full being that this weekend is opening of archery. You can find landowners who are willing to let you hunt there land but I would suggest going in the spring and talking that way you can help them over the summer with some basic chores so they get to know you walk all over their land with a gun.

On most Club leases the members can take someone as aguest, but not the first week of any opening hunt......many don't allow guest on Spring Gobbler..Hopefully he can find someone to invite him as a guest on some Club Lease.....Best Of Luck..
