private land
#1
My question is what is the best way of inquiring about land for lease. I would love to hunt on some private land ( don't we all ) such as during gun season. Its getting really dangerous durin rifle season. not to mention all the deer are now scatered. Do any of you have land for lease in missouri?

Rather than go straight to leasing I suggest you really give a good effort at gaining some landowners permission.
It really isn't that hard.
I would venture to guess that in my experiences that 4/10 farmers will grant bowhunting permission if you look presentable and speak to them in a respectable manner. You would be surprised to see how far it gets you.
A little tip that works well for me is mentioning the amount of crop damage that is occurring in the area while you are speaking with the farmer. This usually perks their attention.
Best of luck with whatever you decide.
