hey robert you can email me the pics at [email protected] and I can resize them for you.

buck-i would have better pictures, but I ran off chasing a group of cows and forgot to take some pictures....sorry again Robert.

Yancy and Robert did you guys loose power?? I got really lucky and we never lost power but across the street and all around us have been out for 2 days.

Yancy I was wondering the same thing about where you got your bull. Did you sit in one spot or did you move around alot. I messed up on the last day and changed areas. One of the other guys told me that in my original spot there were 7 cows and I would have had a 100 yard shot. If only I could go back in time.

Buck I and Davs2601,
We did have to 1/4 him up to get him out. He was in a pretty rough spot.
I shot him right behind the Visitor Center on the ridge. He was with 2 other bulls
but this is the only one I could get a good shot at and he was bedded down when
I popped him.
I lost electricity for about 36 hours.

I talked with my grandpa over Christmas, he told me they had an article in the Lawton Constitution about how the elk hunters had to brave the ice storm. I would have figured they would have put it of a week. I dont know how those guys could have done it. it was extremly tough with dry rocks and boulders. i can even imagine trying to get around when its all covered in ice. I probably would have killed myself out there.
