You Guys Who Hunt Green Swamp, watch out for the Green Swamp Cat!!!!

I cant believe i found this. But this is copied off the FWC Non Native Website

Florida's Exotic Wildlife. Species detail.

Jaguarundi
Herpailurus yagouaroundi

First year: 1934
Extirpated year:

Established status: Species have populations whose status is unknown.

Estimated Florida range: 8 counties Not reported breeding

Statewide trend: Unknown status

Threats to natives: Unknown

Species Account:This small cat is a native of Texas to South America. No specimen has been found in Florida, and the evidence for its presence consists of scattered eyewitness accounts which are suspect, given the jaguarundi's similarity to domestic cats. There have also been some sightings of this animal reported in coastal Alabama. The absence of road-killed specimens in Florida argues strongly against the presence of anything more than isolated escapees. The Jaguarundi has been on the United States Endangered Species List since 1976.

Habitats:Flatwoods,Mesic Hammocks

Lets not Forget the FL Python that swallowed the gator and exploded.

Blog: Claudia Imhoff: Snake Eats Alligator and Explodes...

Apparently a 13 foot python exploded when it tried to swallow a LIVE 6 foot ... Leaving the 'gator to die because its front end was stuck in the snake. ...

Damn that thing looks freaky i hope he had more than a stick when he killed it.

The pythons are getting bad for sure. There are some loop holes in the herp hobby that need addressing. Hell there is a guy selling Anacondas at the flea market to anyone with the cash. Nevermind the fact they make terrible pets being mostly aquatic and will be large enough to eat anything in sight.
