Question found on the web...
The paved Withlacoochee State Trail goes through the area. Other recreation opportunities include a dirt bike and ATV area, canoeing and boating (three boat ramps), and camping (five areas). Wildlife that may be seen on Croom WMA include white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, fox squirrels, alligators, and swallow-tailed kites. Most of the roads on the area are very sandy and unimproved and four wheel drive is recommended.

That is the question of the hour...
Here is the answer from my heart.,,and as brief as I can make it.
because my wife and I have talked this one over for days.
Probably not for around 5 years. We have checked north Florida out and you are right ..there are teaching jobs up there aas well. Our sites are on Missouri. I talked to the principal up there and she was straight with me. ALL out of state applications are thrown in the trash except....
Special Education and Computer Technology..
Well I have Special Ed on my certificate and my wife isbeing trained for the Computer Tech person at our school. She said we have jobs when we are ready. We woul dtake a huge pay cut and lose our retirement. Therefore my wife and I have been entertaining the idea of north Florida. One concern about north Florida. There doesn't seem to be alot of buffer when those hurricanes hit. However; if I lived upi there I would hunt Eglin's Airforce Base. SO no ..we are still needing a little more faith.
Thanks for asking.

Looks like this area is fixing to take off in the population/development area. Yesterday Mutual of Omaha announced they are going to build a Wild Kingdom south of Bonifay and the hot rumor (based on good info) is that Disney is surcuring lands to put in another amusement park in the area.

Sorry to hear that about Bonefay. Thanks for the update about Lake City. My wife and I are actually looking for a place like Mayberry.
