Don't think so. Maybe a retarded beaver. Have you seen any dams parallel to the streams lately?

I really have no clue. Maybe deer, bear, or something. Are there any tracks right around it?

no tracks - there are too many leaves and pine straw to tell. there is a path that has been made by some sort of animal that circles a small area.
