How does the population of p.d. look around the western states, and is there people still out to save these little critters? A few years ago that was all I heard about people that wanted to save the p.d. ,just save them for us to shoot!

We have a pretty good sized ranch and we estimate that in one place we cant use about 400 acres because of them. They burrow and cattle will step in the holes and cripple themselves, and you cant drive across where they are without your vehicle falling in. But they are great for working on your accuracy. Our deer hunters have a field day shooting them.

The population is thriving. You don't have to worry about anyone out here wanting to save them. The people trying to save them live east of the Mississippi where they have none. I would guess I shot somewhere around 1500 rounds at them last year. There is definately no shortage here in SD.

If you need some up killing the little critters I would love to come down! I haven't shot a P.D. in a long time. Most of the dog where I live moved into town. I can't shoot them with the guns. I have shot many with my bow.
