peanut butter bait?

I catch em all the time in my live traps with an ear ofcorn wire tied in the back of the cage. You have to wire tie it because the little buggers will climb the sides of the cage and grab it and get out without tripping the trigger. I have watched them do that so I started tying the cob to the cage far enough back that they have to step on the trigger but not too far that they reach in the back and eat off it.

Then throw some freakin corn on the ground and wait!What's the point inbaiting squirrels though if you are going to hunt them. I usually go out early in the morning and wait for them to get up and start moving and I am usually covered up with them.
