Need to get rid of Coons????
Guys I need some ideas on the best and quickest way to get rid of these little critters... they are eating up all my corn before the deer get there and they are posing in front of my camera's all nite long.. I have some leg hold traps and a live trap. Just don't want to catch a deer in the leg trap. Anything would be great.. thanks in advance

RE: Need to get rid of Coons????
they will go right in a live trap for tuna fish or jelly, peanut butter, donuts or just about anything sweet, the problem is that you have to either kill them or relocate them a good distance away after catching them in a live trap,so if its coon seasons in,you may want to post up downwind of your feeder some at night with a 22 rifle and when the trail cam takes a picture shine the light on them and shoot them if its legal in your state.good luck, and you will nevr get rid of them completely you will just thin them out and save yourself some corn,I use ear corn and it last a lot longer for deer, turkey and coons
