Default .17 HMR On Coons

How far away could you take a coon with using a .17 HMR?

Thanks

i shoot a 204 ruger, but from my experience, a 17 us good up to 150 yds with no wind and no rain. . . .use an explosive round like horady vmax. . . . .

head shot if ya don't want the head. . . .but a good lung shot will make soup on the insides with very low if any pelt damage. . . .

Most shots on coons are far less than the effective range of the hummer, you'll be fine.
