Hey yall, I am looking at buying a Henry lever action .22 magnum in the near future. And I was wondering what you think about the gun. Also I was wondering what would be the best choice of ammo for coyotes out to about 50-75 yards. Ohh yeah, do yall know of any good scopes for a .22 magnum, but not too expensive,thanks.[/align]

40 grain hollow points. I do believe Remington put out a 50 grain hollow point as well. The hollow points will work better than the soft points. Keep ranges below 100 yards. A Nikon ProStaff scope would fit your bill nicely.

I use the 33 gr. accutips from remington. Havent had the chance at a coyote with them but they performed well on a fox a month or so ago. No damage to the pelt at all.Very pleased with theyre accuracy also.

35 grain vmax at 2265 fps- They're a little pricey though, and you're not supposed to use them in a semi-auto.

I shoot maxi-mag 40 grain shooting at 1875 fps. I have a marlin bolt fited with a simmons 3X9 scope. I love this gun and have shot many yotes with it out 2 100 yards and they dnt go far. My setup is accuate to 150 for shooting yotes.
