Injured squirrel

Default Injured squirrel

I recently shoot a squirrel in the stomach[with an airifle]and it his hind legs kicked up and he ran up into the trees,acting like nothing happened.Will he die????????????

Maybe or maybe not. too tought to tell. What is the velocity of the gun? How far was the squirrel?

The squirrel was only10 yd away and the velocity i think is between750 or 800.

Maybe, maybe not; an airgun I assume? In .177 caliber he will probably live for a few days and die, .22 should have taken him out then and there. Some squirrels are absolute monsters, surviving RWS .22 hits to the brain and being found after being shot againyears later, no one can really say whether he will or will not die.
