im not a coyote caller,i usually trap them.but what i presume is that when you howel, they howel back, they are just telling you not to come any closer, that is there place.Try getting closer to the cover where they are hiding.Get into there territory without them seeing you and try howeling, use a stuffed coyote as a decoy.

Coyotes have enough memory capacity to figure out that if it was dangerous yesterday and the day before, it is still dangerous. In other words, if you go into the same area and use the same sounds and set up in the same spot 2 - 3 times a week, then they've got your number and you will need to make some changes to how you approach the area, the sounds you use, the time of day, etc. If you're calling to the same coyotes over and over, then at this point, they will be very hard to fool! Make some changes!

First you need to start out with a couple howls. After that start doing the distress calls. I gaurantee it will work for you. maybe not every time but more times than not!!!!!! GIVE US AN UPDATE AND TELL US WHAT TECHNIQUE YOU UESD TO GET UM!~!~!~!~!!!!!!
