That wrap is more than likely negatively affecting your accuracy; it's disturbing the harmonics of the free float barrel.

I've been reading all these .223 vs 22-250 threads and whats best for coyote and bla bla bla

This is my CZ 527 Varmint in .223. with the heavey barrel

I got it to shoot prairie dogs and coyotes. Its got the wrap on it right now for coyote hunting but it's got a pretty blonde maple stock.

i've taken prairie dogs beyond 350 yards my farthest was 368 (I love rangfinders)

So lets see'em guys
I've heard that anything restrictive which is mounted around the barrel and stock can have a negative effect on accuracy. How tight is the wrap and have you shot groups with and without to test accuracy?
With the wrap at 200 yards

I think i'll be OK

I think everyone left out Ol' Reliable. Call them in close and use the 12 gauge on them. Hevi-Shot / Dead Coyote through a tight (steel rated) turkeychoke.
