Ruger 77/Mark II in .300 Win. Mag left hand. Bedded action with floated barrel and a 4 by 12 Redfield Five Star scope. Have zapped coyotes past 475 yards with it.Shooting coyotes at long range is very good training for long shots on game animals.i use 125 and 130 grain bullets with a case chuck full of IMR 4831.

.30 caliber bullets are much better in wind than are .22 bullets.

My latest varmint getter, still need to finalize the sight in.

Marlin 917V, 17HMR w/Bushnell 4-12x40 scope.

For longer range shooting my Savage 111 22-250 and Remington 788 22-250 come out to play.
