Of all the choices the 55 gr load. You will be pushing that bullet at 4000 ft per sec and that will make a nice flat shooting varmint load. That is why the 30.06 is the most versatile round going. No wonder it has just celebrated it's 100th b'day.

I am sure that any sabot is not going to have pinpoint accuracy; those 55 gr loads are more of a novelty then anything.I had forgot that 30.06 in 55 gr was a sabot,but to answer your question, no I don't own a 30.06 and I am buying one for my wife for an upcoming New Foundland moose, caribou, and bear. I was just looking at ballistic charts. To achieve accuracy with one I would imagine you would have to shoot 120 gr bulletsor bigger.
