duckdog, so far this witner I haven't ventured beyond the eastern plains of Colo. We've only called all day one time so far, we called in 12 that day, saw 4 others. It seems like the numbers of coyote around here are up this year, so once the weather turns cold again, we will be getting after them again.
And you are right, set up is the most important part of being a "successful" caller. Calling them in is the easy part, killin' is the hard part but is a lot easier if the set up is right!

Im in Calgary, Alberta. We have a fair number of yotes up here and ive been at it for quite a few years and have improved my technique and gained more knowledge each time out. as well, my relationship with the farmers and the access to a large amount of private land i have helps alot. Other than that, i just get out alot and put in my time.Ive perfected my calling, shooting, and snaring techniqueover the years. I assume your somewhere down south so dont think your doing anything wrong with only 13. Thats a decent number of yotes and alot dont get that many just shootin. Good luck and happy huntin!

cheers
