Unfortunately it's the will of people who live in urban areas. If it was up to the will of rural residents this law would not be in effect.

lazyarcher; I agree with you. There is a totally different cocrpt about guns between the southern city dwellers and almost everyone else in Ontario. Even bigger northern cities like the Soo, Sudbury...

tmbrwolf; there is no conservative logic in the huge metropolis of Toronto. Right wing parties are not viewed with much trust from people who believe that being molested at gun point is a top issue....

Or they can sell the guns to those who don't care if they're registered or not. That would tend to be the criminal element. But what are they going to do with a million or more guns that won't be...

lazyarcher; I agree that for the most part people have registered. But; there are a large number (especially out west) that haven't. I believe that a party could rescind the law. It may be backing...

I tried to register but somehow signed up for the alliance party instead. Oh ya; I voted for a candidate who wants to form a coaliton with the PCs. It was $10 well spent.

tschaef; as stupid as it sounds you can still get your guns registered for free. Anyone who is buying a gun has the $25 per gun fee waved. Just tell Miramachi that you're buying from a friend. ...
