I use the low drag .50 cals in my optima elite due to the tight fit. The originals are tight the first time they are loaded.

I have an optima elite w/ a nikon omega scope. If I had to do it over again, I would drop the coin on a encore ph with the same scope.

Oh I'd love to try them, I am just a little curious to see if it is a powerbelt sabot, or a totally dif bullet.

I shoot the optima elite w/the omega scope and use t/c med quck detatch rings. It's still pretty low and had to remove rear sight.

I have an optima elite and love it! That being said, I've shot my buddies t/c pro hunter and it's pretty darn nice. Is it worth the extra coin?, not to me it's not. Your gonna find that most people...

The SW I tried were the new superglides and they loaded a little tigher than the powerbelts, but those load pretty easy. I have not bought any bullets yet, but Im curious to see what would work....

Thanks, I've tried powerbelts and the sw and to be honest, they both shoot about the same. I still need to tweak the charge to get it just right but money wise it looks like buying in bulk is the way...

Yeah, but I thought I read on here somewhere that SW are just hornady sst bullets right? Im just trying to find out if I can make up my own.

I've got a 50.cal stainless model setup with warnes QD rings and a nikon omega scope. Seems to shoot very well, but this is my first go round with a M/L.

Well, I tried the see thru set from durasight and I was having to lift my cheek way off the stock to see through it. So thats where im at right now.
