i shoot a 270 wsm, will take any animal in north america but if your shots are past 300 the 300 wsm or 7mm mag are good choices but they all can damage alot of meat at short range. if you can reload...

i shoot the weatherby vangaurd in 270 wsm, it will shoot less then 1 inche at 100 with the cheapo fed powershok 130 sp. i have a jewelled bolt on mine, its smoother then my buds sauer and sohn 202....
