I was wondering if anyone can tell if you can convert a double trigger to a single trigger. If you can, is it something I can do or better left to the gunsmith?

I live in NJ and by the law your supposed to send to an FFL and then the person ypur shipping to would have to show his NJ Firearm ID to the FFL to complete the paper work. Hope...

fiber optic sights

I have a CVA .50 Cal Mountain stalker and I would like to upgrade to fiber optic sights. Cayugad you mentioned in a post to me that you upgraded to Star Dot fiber optic sights on your Mountain...

I just wanted to give an update. I ran some emery cloth on thenipple and the caps fit much better. I also ordered a hot shot nipple and that came in today so I went to the range. I fired 25 shots...

It's a CVA Mountain Stalker .50 cal I was trying to work up a hunting load with T7 3f and a 300 grain buckslayer but it wa a little hard every time you pull the trigger wondering if the gun would go...

I did wipe the nipple before capping. The caps are so tight that you can see they were not seated, I even bent my capper trying to push down more. After the first attempt the cap is noticibly better...

Hello all,
I have been lurking for a while and have learned much from all of you. I have a CVA sidelock. Last week I went to the range and the (#11 CCI)caps would only fire on the second attempt....
