Default convert a double trigger to single

I was wondering if anyone can tell if you can convert a double trigger to a single trigger. If you can, is it something I can do or better left to the gunsmith?

you can get the trigger assembly and change it over. I just can't figure why you would want to do it. Most of the double triggers work like a single trigger also. Check with the company you got the rifle from and see if they have the assembly or can tell you who does and how to do it.

I prefer the feel of the bigger trigger gaurds with the single trigger.

Hmmm. If you have a DECENT double-set trigger, I recommend that you practice a lot with it until it becomes second nature to operate it without having to think about it. A good DST is infinitely superior to any single trigger for hunting and target shooting both.
