The powder should be in good shape if it was kept from getting moisture. I have some powder that is about 10 years old and I haven't had any problems with it.

Try Varget by Hogdon it works great for me and you can buy it almost anywhere. I buy mine from wal-mart for 18.00 a pound. Hope this helps.

I getting ready to buy an encore barrel either in a 204 ruger or a 223 rem. I already have a 22-250 barrel . I don't know to much about the 204. Anyone know any websites with reloading information.

New Cabelas

:):)Just got back from the new Cabelas in Wheeling,WV it is very nice inside. They have hundreds of mounts, a huge aquarium. If you live close by you should go. Has anyone else ever been to cabelas....
