Hey cayugd ... I shoot xtp hornadys and they worked great for me I shot a doe at 75 or so yrds and she went down like she was hit by lighting as far as the mounts weaver is good but stay away from...

You may want to try putting the 10 ring (the smallest circle) on top of the sight picture (on top of the front sight as its saddled in your rear sight.

209s are hotter and throw a bigger burst of ignition and seam to stay free of most moisture problems. They are in my opinon the best.

Sounds like you need to specify between leaveing a charge in the breech (barrel) and having both a charge and a cap on...or if a flintlock a charge in the pan and a charge in the barrel.... both are...

Venison burger is awsome I've grinded my own both with pork fat and with beef fat (venison is so lean its better to add some fat so it doesnt dry up when cooked) I use it in alot of recipes try it...

Only one gun????? Have to be a 30-06 its dynamic bullet selection is vast and well documented and will kill anything on the north american continet with the right bullet selection. Also ammo is easy...
