Question Thompson Center Pro Hunter, scope mount base ???

I have a Thompson Center Pro Hunter

I have the Leupold scope base and rings on the black powder barrel, the bottom of the scope base makes contact with the barrel the complete length of the base....

Sorry for the confusion,,, I have NOT shot any deer yet, antler and or antlerless,,, I have seen alot of deer but nothing I care to Shoot yet.

Seen 1 spike several days ago. This evening5 big does, 8 little yearlings....No goodhorns yet, hope something happens soon, I need to kill something!!![:@]. Might have to thin out some of them does...

starting to getcooler here,,deer loosing summer hair and starting to grow them dark winter coats,,,,,past week seen more and more deer on the move,, no big ones yet,,,,,,,,,can't wait for opening...

What to shoot Muzzy broadheads- 3 or 4 blades,,used them years ago when they first came out with a browing bow. Over the years went to other brandbroadheads that were suppose to be new and the best...

Need to get a new safety harness.

Looks like Hunter Safety Systems make a good vest type.
