I'll be haeding out in a couple of hours to hunt near a corn field in my ground blind. The weather is just about perfect. Maybe a little warm, but a cloudy grey day. Just how I like it when I am hunting.
I'll let you know how it went later.
Good luck to all of you hunting. Lets go teammates.

Ya those are awesome pics... I love the mountains and at times really miss them. (AZ) Looks like you probably had a great time..
jm-nice shot on the doe man.. I seen your groundblind setup, that looks really good.. Corn is going to be in late this year and I was hoping to set one up similar to that if the corn is still in the first week of Oct...

Well guys I shot a management buck Friday night.
He is a 2 1/2 year oldwith a fork on one side and a "clump" of antler on the other side with 1 tine going strait up and another tine shooting strait back towards his back.
Definitely a buck I wanted killed before he bred any does. Obvisley he isn't going to score much, but that isn't what I was thinking about when I shot him.
Don't have pics yet because they are on a disposable camera since I forgot to bring my digital with me. [&:]I also don't have the rack since its at the butcher.
Hopefully some of you guys drop the hammer on some dandys so we can climb the latter to the top!
So I guess the Rampage is on the board, with a couple of inches.
Also congrats on the doe John. She'll taste great! Thats my next mission is to take a doe.

Way to go Lance, points on the board we'll take it. Let us know what he scores when you get the rack back. And don't forget to take 4 mass measurements for each side. Some guys forget that with weird racks.
Hopefully you got a pic with you with the bow and the buck. The rules say you have to have a bow in the pic with the deer.
