Ive had the worst luck finding a good spot for baiting...they logged last year and messed up my spot I had and I put out bait last spring/fall then this spring and no bears came near the bait....

yep, while tribal members do have longer seasons none are open for elk as far as I know. bear is open I think all year for them. Plus Ive never taken someone new to shooting and only shot 2 times....

Ive been finding a one here and there...a neighbor found a pair of super nice 8point sheds. I'll have to try and get a pic. Ive never seen the buck...hunting or on game camera. Its definitely a beast.

They are different deer, the fork is on the left side of the first one and on the right side of the second. Unless the pics are transposed somehow. First one looks to be 3.5 but cant get a good look...

Anyone getting the bass fishing itch?? I for one am....The lakes are still half frozen here so I know its early yet but I went and tried just the same. I didnt have any luck but it was nice to go.

To add to this...there are also numerous tags to put in for as a "lotto" which gives you the opportunity for moose, big horn sheep, antelope etc and also you can buy nonresident extra tags for deer...

I had a good overall season, I bagged my first elk cow and that pretty much filled our freezer so I donated my deer(doe) to my pastor who then gave it to some local families that needed meat.
