Just picked up another savage 220 topped it w a Leopold vx2 3-9. Third I owned. Shoots 1in groups on a bad day. Great slug once you work the action about a 1000 times.

We had a decent day on Saturday hunting. Had 18 guys killed 2. Biggest issue was the guns not going off. It was rough keeping the pan dry. It was nice having deer out on every push except 1.

Only deer I been seizing in number are bucks. Seen 16 legal bucks and a bunch of small ones. Only doe I seen have been eating acorns and there are so many oak trees in the area it a shot in the dark....

There is public land in 5C that has some deer on it. Not bad in archery but firearm season I wouldn't hunt it. It is a little late to start scouting, archery opens up tomorrow in that area.
