RE: new godson on the way,...present idea

If you want to engrave a motto or something similar, put it in latin. It doesn't matter what you say, really, but putting it in latin makes me it feel 'smarter' and 'enlightened' to most people. Most...

RE: Weird green ooze in deer meat??!!

I believe the determining factor in finding out exactly what it is is the taste. Go ahead and give it a lick, tell us about afterwards.

RE: What Do You Think of the People on This Forum???

In my short stay here I've grown to love 95% of the users. Most everyone seems truly supportive and friendly, no matter their personal preference.

RE: Tight Budget Deer Rifle

*sigh*

I've done enough research on the Mosin family to know that... That's embarassing. Sorry, it's late and I'm semi-working on a Civics paper.

RE: Ever be tip toe'ing in the woods...

Coyotes honestly don't bother me in the slightest. As you said, they're insanely skiddish, and far more scared of you than you are them.

RE: Tight Budget Deer Rifle

Sorry for the double-post.

I found out that using a Mosin-Nagant for hunting is illegal in the state of Kentucky. The Mosin fires 7.62x54Rmm cartridges, the R stands for rimfire. While I knew...

RE: Ever be tip toe'ing in the woods...

This thread is absolutely hilarious.

I hunt on a family friend's multi-hundred acre farm, and he has a rather large herd of cows and a few bulls that roam free on the land. They tend to stay...

RE: This Makes Me Sick.

Advertising in a completely unrelated place? Classy. In most forums that's considering hijacking a thread and warrants a ban.

RE: chew?

RE: Tight Budget Deer Rifle

I've always really liked the idea of those extra hunting days with a muzzleloader, but would I'll think I'll opt for a centerfire rifle for the time being. In the future that's definitely a cheaper...

I've heard mixed opinions on the ATR... So many people that I talk to dislike it, that I'd rather not pay that much money and risk it. I'm going with the Savage so far.

With a week left in the...

RE: Tight Budget Deer Rifle

I can't find any packages, after plenty of searching. I can find individual rifles, but no packages. I've already looked into the Savage Stevens Model 200, which is currently my best bet.
