Homer, the article is on correcting malfunction, not just immediate action (SPORTS, which happens to be in the article, that you didn't read before you commented on it.) but remedial action also.

Loony, you're correct... If you can fire one shot, make an adjustment, and then fire consistently at 300 or so meters, then that's all you need to do. In the hunting world, shots are rarely attempted...

Here is some more great information for you guys on long range shooting. Most hunters and casual target shooter do not have this knowledge. Out shoot all of your friends using this basic instruction....
