a spotlight and a .22 or .17 hmr is the way i hav always done it n if u dnt feel like like stayin up all night spotlighting im 100 percent sure a couple of high school kids will do it for u for freei...

any of those calibers are fine for hogs i usually use a marlin 30-30 my bow and i hav put a 100 pounder down with my .40 pistol

grouping advice?

just a personal opinion i own both and i like the .17 better it has better accuracy than the 22 mag and i prefer well placed kill shots with the 17

just go to tractor supply they sell box traps pretty cheap and i always bait w sardines or tuna in a can i also use a .17 and a 3 mill candle power spotlight to do a lil long distance practice

we have a problem w them coming in pretty late at nite here in north texas u might want to try a little spotlighting if its legal where u are otherwise i would put a timed feeder out and pour a bag...

i hunt in north texas and the best way ive foundis to sour corn and use the PHD method (post hole digger) and the best and fastest way ive found to sour corn was a five gallon bucket 3/4 full of corn...
