I had one, .357 max Contender in a 21" bull barrel from MGM. It was really fun to shoot and I still kick myself for letting it go. I shot 180 Hornady SSP bullets, 185 gr. Beartooth hardcast GCs and Sierra 200 gr. RNs. With the 180 gr. bullets, a max load of AA1680 I would get 2100 fps and could probably get more but didn't need to. Didn't chrony the other two.
I used 38/.357 carbide RCBS dies and they worked just fine. For longer case life only size the portion of the case that actually holds the bullet. Make sure you can get brass prior to actually getting a barrel chambered as such.
