last time I went to buy shot, it was damn near $35. a bag.
I'm thinking about just loading my field loads, and buying the cheapie aluminum hulled junk for the range...

HDW---Is the reclaimed shot screened for size? I would imagine it's run through a cyclone to separate the shot from the other debris, similar to separating coal from rock in a cleaning plant. Just my guess, but I wondered if it was re-screened to separate the 7 1/2's from the 8's, etc?
Curious.......??

the stuff ive been buying im sure is screened to some degree but it does appear to be a mix of 7.5 and 8's. sofar I have not come across any larger shot pellet in it. but even with the two sizes of shot mixed together I havent noticed a drop in performance when breakin clays or poppin early season quail later in the season I like #6 with a full choke so ill break down and buy some hardened #6 shot which is no biggy because hardened #6's is what I use in my turkey loads too.
