Reloading Shotgun Slugs
I seen this website, www.slugsrus.com. Would it be worth the time to try to load your own slugs?

I tried it, I gave up shortly after the only way to save money at it is if you cast your own slugs, but consistancy sucks so i gave up.

RE: Reloading Shotgun Slugs
My only use for slugs would be in a 20ga, as an opportunist shot at a hog while squirrel and /or rabbit hunting with my Savage .22rf/20ga.
I have a Lee .575 min'ie mold, 430gr, just cut the crimp off a 1oz field load, dump the shot, drop the slug in the sleeve, make a card wad and use a partial star crimp.
Does it on the cheap. 1300fps.

This is the most dangerous thing I have ever seen posted on this site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They have data for these slugs & what you are doing is death waiting to happen.
A load of shot can compress a slug will not.
You are getting barrel pressures that you have no idea what are.
